Freelance Writer Partnership

MiddleM Creative is looking to develop a long-term, collaborative partnership with a talented, experienced and organized freelance writer. If you are a highly skilled communicator who enjoys creating professional short and long-form content, this opportunity is for you! We strongly prefer writers with B2B writing expertise and experience writing for the financial sector.

As a fast-growing provider of strategic branding, marketing, digital marketing, PR and business development services for private equity and investment banking firms, MiddleM Creative is working with some of the leading firms in the middle market. Although we provide similar services, we are unlike most marketing and PR agencies regarding our team structure, industry-specialized services, and — most importantly — culture.

Potential Content Writing Assignments

  • Thought Leadership Articles: Review call notes and supporting materials, research, write, and edit original 800- 1,500-word thought-leadership content pieces.

  • Press Releases: Review call notes and supporting materials, research, write and edit press releases per client requirements.

  • Social Media Posts: Write and edit lead-ins for LinkedIn and X posts based on the target landing page content.

  • Marketing Emails: Write and edit email language to distribute thought leadership pieces or press releases.

What You’ll Bring to the Partnership

  • 5+ years (or fewer considered with strong portfolio and references) of writing experience, with the ability to provide work samples

  • Exceptional writing, editing and communication skills; ability to write in the appropriate brand tone and voice

  • Mastery of AP Style and Chicago Manual of Style writing practices

  • Relevant industry experience writing for corporate banking, private equity, or investment banking clients preferred

  • Professional and confident, ability to accept a project request quickly and complete it within the agreed-upon timeframe

  • Proficient in leveraging Microsoft Word to organize and deliver all writing projects

  • A reliable computer to complete all projects

Compensation

  • Hourly or project-based rate commensurate with experience
